About the Artist:
Brian Adnams was born in England and came to South Africa in the 1950s. He has always been involved in the arts and manages his own art and design studio in Johannesburg.
His work is greatly influenced by his love of Africa, evidenced by his choice of coastal and mountain scenes and the use of vibrant colour. Much of his work has been bought by international corporate companies.
Working initially in oils, pastels and watercolours, he has developed a new and most unusual approach using acrylic casein colour – the style being uniquely his own.
His father, PB Adnams, was the well-known artist on the Daily Express in London.
