About the Artist:
Born in March 1970, the artistic career of Casey started at a young age under the shadow of his great-grandfather, Tinus de Jongh, and it was only natural that he would be influenced by his Dutch heritage.
Being fully self-taught, his artistic inspiration is drawn from the rugged beauty that South Africa offers and from personal life experiences. He continues to pursue his own experimental and expressive interests in various media and subject matter beyond his main focus areas too.
